Part III of an Easter vacation. Bangkok: wandering around the deserted china town at night, mind-boggling propositions walking through the crowded red light district, intense humidity and grand Buddhist temples. Chiang Mai: more relaxed, genuine and authentic in atmosphere than Bangkok, wonderful night markets, Buddhist monks, happy elephants that paint pictures better than most five year olds, and Dhara Dhevi, the most opulent hotel we have ever stayed in (magnificent grounds, their own wildlife including an albino buffalo, well over ten staff per hotel guest and the best, most thoughtful service we've ever experienced).
