World Cup Final : Utterly crazy and unplanned trip to the World Cup Final in Berlin. Found out about spare ticket on Friday evening, reserved flights on Saturday, flew out Sunday arriving a couple of hours before the game. Insane Italians, maniacal French fans and amazing German hospitality. Somehow managed to get fantastic seats, directly opposite the VIP box. All photos Copyright (c) 2007 Simon.

Week in Japan : Week in intense Tokyo and relaxed Kyoto. Amazing hospitality, lots of bowing, the "BJ Girls" performing "Miss Understood", a surfeit of white hotel slippers and not a piece of graffiti in sight. Handheld GPS meant freely wandering through the labyrinthian back streets without the fear of ever getting lost. My new do-not-forget list: passport, credit card and GPS.
